How many Herd Management Ear Tags does an average farmer use in a year?
Cows are sold, culled, die.
Tags are cut, buried, dumped, as each cow departs, and replacement tags purchased annually to identify incoming heifers and purchases.
There is also a number of tags which are simply torn out of ears while itching on gateposts or leaning through fences.
With tagsaver these tags can be collected, opened and re-used, rather than becoming more plastic thrown into landfill
When shipping the product to you it is packaged in reused cardboard, and shipped to you within New Zealand via CourierPost. The CourierPost packaging currently being used is made from type 4 recycled plastic. If your local council provides services to recycle both of these products then nothing need be sent to the landfill.
For International shipments all efforts are made to use recyclable packaging.
